JACK THE RIPPER AGAIN

SEVEN WOMEN MURDERED IN GERMAN CITY CRIMES BAFFLE POLICE United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Press Associaion Reed. 1.12 p.m. BERLIN, Monday. The police at Dusseldorf are baffled by a series of murders extending over seven months, similar to those of Jack the Ripper. In each case the victim was a woman or a girl. The instrument used was usually a knife. No attempts were made to rob the victims, so the police believe the crimes were committed by ail insane woman-hater. Since February, 15 attempts to kill women have been made, and seven have been fatal.
