FRANKLIN NOMINATION Steps to fill the vacant seat on the Auckland Hospital Board consequent on the death of Mr. J. D. Chalmers are being taken by the constituent local authorities in Franklin. At its meeting yesterday the Franklin County Council, after consideration in committee, decided to nominate Mr. H. P. Garland, member for the Waiuku riding, to the Pukekohe Borough Council, Tuakau and Waiuku Town Boards. The Tuakau Town Board forwarded the nomination of Mr. A. H. Tapper, its clerk. . _ . . . Messrs.
