VANCE PREPARED TO WRESTLE The New Zealand Wrestling Association has invited Torn Alley to wrestle George Walker in Auckland on October 28, but Alley has not yet given ft definite answer. Asked if he was prepared to meet Walker, “Farmer” Vance replied that he was, providing Walker made 12st 101 b. However, when asked by Walker why he had wrestled Alley at 13st 51b, and was not prepared to wrestle him on that condition, Vance replied that he would wrestle him at 13st 51b. The association has not yet decided what bout will follow that between Vance and Eklund for the light-heavy-weight title on October 21.
