PLANES LEAVE AT LAST
HOP TO MASTERTON BEAUTIFUL FLYING WEATHER Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. In beautiful flying: weather the three Auckland airplanes left for Masterton at 7.30 a.m. today, their first stop on the return journey to Auckland. They will go on to Hastings after a short stay at Masterton, and will remain overnight there before proceeding to Gisborne and Auckland. ARRIVAL AT HASTINGS Press Association HASTINGS, Today. The touring Auckland planes arrived at noon after a splendid trip from Wellington. They were welcomed by Sir Andrew Russell, president of the Hawke’s Bay Aero Club, and by the Mayor, Mr. G. F. Roach. TWO HOURS IN MASTERTON Press Association MASTERTON, Today. The Auckland airplanes left Masterton at 10.25 a.m. on their way to Hastings, after a stay of over two hours here.
