TURKS RAISE MONEY IN ANTICIPATION MAGNIFICENT STRUCTURE Turks are digging in their pockets for piastres to contribute to the building of a sepulchre worthy of housing the body of Gazi Mustapha Kemal when the first President of the Turkish Republic dies. Millions of lire are to be expended on the erection of the Pantheon which is to rise on the ruins cf an ancient fortress that towers over the new capital city of mushroom growth. The building is to be a memorial to the Turkish Republic, while in its catacombs will one day be placed the biers of President Kemal and other leaders of the new regime who may be voted worthy of such an honour by the National Assembly. The construction of tae Pantheon is one of the important features of the programme for the reconstruction of Angora presented by the German expert. Herman Jaisen.
