MINISTERS’ WIVES MEET
RECEPTION AT REMUERA The visitors at the annual meeting of the Ministers’ Wives’ Union included missionaries in Xew Zealand on furlough, and members of the union in other centres. At the invitation of Mrs. Ellingham, the reception v j held at “Taree,” Remuera. Mrs. Kemp, president of the union, and Mrs. Ellingham received the guests, and musical items were given by Mrs. Shirley Williams. Miss Dorothy Blomfield. Miss Joyce Ellingham and Miss Doreen Logan. A welcome was extended to two members, Mrs. Rimmer and Mrs. | Binney. Officers elected were:—President. Mrs. Tuckwell (Dunedin); vice-presi-dents, Mrs. Kemp (Auckland). Mrs. Harry ( Wellington), Mrs. Robertson (Christchurch): secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Jenkins (Dunedin), i The members of the union were taken k j to interesting points around Auckland. j You may wish that you had been - designed with flat hips, but it is pc ri fectly possible to be good-looking and plump.
