HAMILTON WEDDING
SNELLGAR—WEBB The wedding took place on Wednesday, at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Hamilton, of Veronica. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Webb, of the Waverley Hotel, Hamilton, and Mr. Jack Snellgar, also of Hamilton. ’ bride, who entered the church with her cousin, Airs. J. Battersby, was daintily gowned in ivory georgette, embroidered in seed pearls, with a flared overskirt of silver lace, caught to the dress with larger pearls. The tullo embroidered veil which formed the train, was held in place by a strand of orange blossom, and she carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses. Aliss Edie Webb was chief bridesmaid, and wore lavender crepe de chine with silk laco overskirt. Her bouquet an as of lavender-shaded flowers. There wero two other bridesmaids, Miss Alarie Webb, whose dress was of mimosa, crepe de chine, and Aliss Cora Taylor, who was dressed in betty blue crepe de chine. Both dresses were trimmed with lace. Two flower girls also attended, Aliss Josephine Webb and Aliss Lily Wallace, the former dressed in shell pink crepe de chine and the latter in nile green georgette. All carried bouquets to tone. Tho bridegroom was attended by Mr. Quill as best man. After the ceremony the reception was held in the “Heremai” Tea Rooms, the bride’s mother receiving the guests wearing a navy bengaline frock trimmed with fawn georgette, and a navy straw hat. Among the guests were:—Airs. Battersby, Air. and Mrs. W. K. Tugby (Auckland). Aliss Dulcie Evans, Air. and Airs. Taylor, Air. and Airs. Holland (Auckland), Miss Banks (Huntly), Air. and Airs. Wallace.
