SUNDAY EVENING ENTERTAINMENT

A thought-provoking lecture, and a sensational film, comprise the entertainment to be given at the Majestic Theatre tomorrow (Sunday) evening by the New Zealand Rationalist Association. The subject of the lecture is “Science and the Future—A Challenging Forecast,.” and the lecturer will be Mr. R. F. Way. The film will be “Metropolis,” made by the great German director, Fritz Lang, for XJ.F.A. “Metropolis” is a vision of the future, over 100 years hence, and of life in one of the great cities then.
