DIFFICULTIES OF CRICKET IN WAIPA From Our Own Correspondent TE AWAMUTU, Friday. The decision of the Waipa Cricket Association to play one-day club matches this season from 10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. caused considerable discussion at the annual meeting of the Te Awamutu Cricket Club last night. This decision was made largely irt the interests of country clubs, which have most of their players engaged in dairying. It is, however, quite unsuitable tc the Te Awamutu Club. The club decided not to affiliate witli the association this season unless more suitable hours of play are decided upon.
