CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
HOLY TRINITY, OTAHUHU The first anniversary of the dedication of the new Holy Trinity Church, Otahuhu, will be celebrated on Sunday next by special services. Communion will be held at S a.m. At 31 o’clock the Primate, Archbishop Averill, will confirm between 50 and 60 candidates, while at the evening service the Rev. Trevor Gilfillan. who is headmaster of a large boys’ school in China, will conduct the service. Mr. Gilfillan is an old Otahuhu boy, his grandfather, the late Canon Gould, having been vicar in Otahuhu for 42 years.
