GOLD CAST

GOLD CAST is one of the many at Hamilton claiming two engagements and the position in ihis case is tricky. In the mile the old pacer is on the front, the limit being 2.19, while in the 10-furlong flutter he again appears on the end (a 2.5 71 class). This is equal to a 2.25 mile gait. While Gold Cast finds it difficult to get any further than eight furlongs it looks as if his best prospects will be in the shorter heat, although he is given plenty of encouragement to try his luck in the final event. Backers looking for something to down the favourite will want to be a bit with GOLD CAST
