COMMERCE CONFERENCE

FULL PROGRAMME ARRANGED MARINE TRIP TOMORROW Members of the various chambers of commerce throughout New Zealand are now assembling at Auckland for the annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand, which commences on Monday morning. Although tho actual conference does commence until Monday the programme will commence tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock, when delegates and their wives will be taken for a marine excursion. The Devonport Fe»ry Company’s vessel Ngoiro has been chartered .and a trip will be made to Motuihi and Rangitoto, the vessel returning to Auckland between 5 and G o’clock, according to the weather. In the evening the visitors will be the guests of tho Auckland Chamber at the Majestic Theatre. tor Sunday afternoon, arrangements have been made for members of the Auckland Chamber to call for visitors and take them for a trip to points of interest about the city. The parties will assemble at the Jolly Farmer Inn, Drury, at four o’clock, for afternoon tea.

A welcome wall be extended by the Mayor, Mr. George Baildon, at the council chamber, at ten o’clock on Monday morning, after which the conference will be opened by the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Industries and 0^^ erCe T. Tt wiU ref *urne after lunch 15,l 5, and at eiKht o’clock a dinner will be given at Hotel Cargen. Ten o’clock has been set down for tho resumption of the conference on.
