BAND CONCERT ON SUNDAY

RELAY FROM WHANGAREI Next Sunday evening, after the usual church service, IYA will relay another of the popular concerts from Whangarei by the Whangarei Municipal Band. An- excellent programme has been arranged. ALL-ELECTRIC RADIO INCREASING POPULARITY All-electric radio receivers are becoming very popular, and Sun advertisers report many sales during the past few weeks. The popularity of these sets is not to he wondered at when one considers that they eliminate the ever-troublesome battery, and that the majority of them work so efficiently on an inside or loop aerial that an outside aerial with the attendant high poles is unnecessary. RELAY FROM CAMBRIDGE On Friday evening IYA will carry out 0. relay from Cambridge of a concert in connection with the Cambridge competitions.
