MID-WEEK TOURNAMENT The Ponsonby Bowling Club started a. mid-week tournament this morning, but the weather stopped play early this afternoon. It will be resumed next Wednesday, starting at 1.45 p.m. Results of today’s play are: First Round.— Dick (Ponsonby) 17, v. Miller (Ponsonby) 16; Gatland (Onehunga) 21. v. Mclvor (Grey Lynn) 13; Parsons (Ponsonby) 14, v. Allely (Mount Albert) S: Sturgess (Dominion Road) 16, v. Millen (Epsom) 35. Second Round.—Dick 16, v. Gatland 14; Parsons 11, v. Millen 10; Allely 13, v. Sturgess 10; Mclvor 16, v. Miller 12.
