532 REGISTERED LAST WEEK Press Association DUXEDIX, Today. Burins; the past week 532 unemployed registered at the Government Labour Bureau, compared with 181 for the previous period. Of. the latest registrations 480 live in Dunedin and 52 in the neighbouring districts. The great majority are labourers fit for heavy work, but clerks, motordrivers, shop assistants and storemen ore also included in the registration. Of these fit for heavy work 244 are married and 192 single. The applicants for light occupations, consisting of 34 married and 3 0 single men, were placed on Public Works.

CHRISTCHURCH FIGURES TOTAL REACHES 916 Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The number of unemployed registered for the week was 916, compared with 611 a week ago. Of these, 422 are new applications.
