COSTES AND BELLECONTE FLY TO HARBIN LONG NON-STOP FLIGHT Australian and N.Z. Press Association < United Service) PARIS, Sunday. The French Foreign Minister has been apprised that the airmen Costes and Belleconte safely landed on September 29 at Taitaikhar, north-east of Harbin, Manchuria. A telegram from Costes to the French consul at Mukden claims that he and his companion have broken the world's long-distance flying record by their journey of more than 5,000 miles from Paris. The Italian record was 4,448.82 miles.
