EFFECTIVE DECORATIVE SCHEME OF BLACK AND WHITE i ! DEVONPORT UNITED CLUB j The Devonport L'nited Football Club j continued its series of dances in the j Foresters’ Hall on Saturday evening, | the hall being festooned with streami ers. Black and white, the club’s colours, predominated in the effective decorations. The club has been very successful with its dances during the season. Alusic has been in the hajids of the Kit Cat Band. Among those present were: Airs. Dalton, who wore black embossed chenille, with georgette; Airs. O'Learv, frock of black panne velvet; Mrs Blankley, apricot georgette, with overdress of spotted lace; Airs. A. Saxon, pale beige crepe de chine and gold lace; Airs Sadgrove, kingfisher crepe de chine; Mrs. Aewman, black crepe de chine frock; .liss Anderson, frock of black crepe de crune; Miss Stackhouse, flame lace fi*ock: Aliss Scott, maize coloured crepe de chine; Miss Handley, frock of alice blue satin; Aliss Jarnis. floral georgette with uneven hemline; Aliss Bolger“ frock of na\y ninon; Miss J. Stevens, powderblue crepe de chine; Aliss S. McKee, pompadour pink taffeta, with uneven hemline; Miss R. Aforgan, frock of ivorv satin beaute; Aliss Stevens, beige and blue georgette frock; Aliss Bartlev, apricot crepe de chine.
