CHILDREN’S ACCIDENTS (16) £5 will be paid to the parent whose name appears on the registration form in the event of an accident to his or her child over the age of six and under the age of 16 years causing broken arm above the wrist or broken leg above the ankle, providing such accident Is the direct result of one of the aforementioned and defined accidents and does not occur during employment. PROVIDED ALWAYS that the above Undertaking and Agreement is subject to the following special conditions which are the essence of the contract, namely, (a) The scope or the Insurance Is restricted to accidents happening In New Zealand and to steamers sailing within New Zealand territorial waters. <b) In the case of death, such death must result within 30 days after the accident. (i) That no compensation shall be payable for any accident happening while the subscriber is carrying another person or riding upon a luggage or pillioncarrier of a cycle or motor-bicycle. __ (j) That no compensation shall be payable for any accident sustained while the subscriber is in a state of Intoxication or resulting from suicide or attempt thereat, an overdose of drugs, insanity, war. riot, or civil commotion. (k) That in the event of auiy dispute between the subscriber and THE SUN as to whether such disablement render the holder temporarily or totally unable to follow his or her usual vocation. It is agreed that such dispute ehall be referred, to the decision of a medical referee to be nominated by THE SUN, whose decision shall be binding upon the parties. 0) That the subscriber was not a crtppla at the date of registration. (m) That the wife or husband of a Home Delivery Subscriber ordinarily residing with him or her shall be deemed to be a Home Delivery Subscriber for all the purposes of the coupon.
