DUNEDIN MEETING THIS MORNING’S TRIALS AL JOLSON’S SPRINT Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. All visiting horses were on the course this morning, Trainers Murray Aynsley’s, Nurse’s, Pritchard’s and Cutts's teams being restricted to light exercise. Waterpower and Tray Bond (Tea Tray—Victory Bond) ran three furlongs on the course proper in 39 2-5, and Comique and Desert Song took 1.7 to run five on the same track. Red Heckle ran five in 1.6 3-5, and looks well. Flair ran five on the course proper in 1.6 2-5, and Aspiring took 1.6 over the same course, and would hav« gone faster but for nearly running into a trestle at the home turn. Silver Paper ran half a mile in 51 1-5, and Salmo Salar beat Sky Sign over five furlongs in 1.19 1-5. Handicap Trial Money Mine and Pink Note ran nine furlongs on the course proper, the last eight in 1.48 2-5. The latter was doing best at the finish. Gold Tinge and Full Flight finished together over five furlongs in 1.5 3-5, the latter doing it better. Black Duke just beat Francolin over three in 41, and Top Speed beat Sailing Home over five furlongs in 1.6. Compensation beat the Tractor — Obsono filly over two furlongs in 24 1- and Acadamy beat Royal Flower over five furlongs in 1.7 2-5. Circulation stood Stealth up three lengths at the start of six furlongs and finished within one length of the three-year-old in 1.19. High Speed and Wig Wag took 1.4 4-5 for five furlongs. On the plough track Town Major and Crossbow ran half a mile in 57 2- and on the same course Roya Saxon sprinted home over three furlongs, with nearly lOst up, in 39 4-5. Tembroney easily beat a companion over five furlongs on the plough in 1.5 1-5. Tardy and Houseful took 53 1-5 for half a mile. A Smart Youngster A 1 Jolson (Limond—Motley), Red Royal and Banderillo jumped off from the three-furlong peg on the course proper in that order, and A 1 Jolson beat Red Royal by three lengths in 37. Glenrowan was going best at the finish of a seven-furlong gallop on tho course proper with Narrative and Wingatui in 1.34 2-5. The latter appeared to feel the hard going. Captivate beat Positive over six furlongs on the course proper in 1.22. Ell Boa ran five furlongs on the plough in 1.5. Teaho gave a poor exhibition over four schooling hurdles.
