“THE ATMOSPHERE IS BAD”

Sir, It is not necessary to make a discursive reply to the abusive protest made by “Anti-Squealer” to my reasonable letter previously, on the necessity of providing better ventilation in the Town Hall on the occasion of popular wrestling bouts and big crowds. From the remarks of “Anti-Squealer,” it is quite clear that he has been long accustomed to vitiated air and bad manners. There is much less wrong with my bronchial tubes than there is about “Artti-Squealer’s” power of reasoning and argument. More fresh air at the Town Hall would help clear his mind. In the meantime I can only hope that someone in authority at the Town Hall this evening will have the wisdom to open the windows during the interval between the preliminary bouts and the world championship bout. HEALTH.
