REMANDED ON THEFT CHARGE Charged with tlie theft of two tins of coffee valued at 28s from the New Zealand Shipping Company on Saturday, James Sadler, a barber, aged 46, was remanded until tomorroAv. There was an alternative charge of receiving, and a representative of Mr. J. F. W. Dickson asked for the remand, explaining that he had just been instructed and wanted time to find a witness. Bail was fixed in one surety of -£lO.
