MOTOR-CYCLIST THROWN
DODGING POT-HOLES SERIOUS INJURIES RECEIVED rress Association TE KUITI, Today. Shortly after midday yesterday Stanley Vette, an employee at the Post and Telegraph camp near Te Kuiti, received serious Injuries to his head when he was thrown from his motor-cycle on the New Plymouth Road. He was negotiating a series of potholes, when he lost control of his machine.' He was thrown heavily on the road and became unconscious. A companion telephoned to Te Kuiti for medical aid, and the injured man was brought to the hospital in a lorry. His condition is serious.
