WON A CUP GIVEN BY BRITIISH GROWERS.—This is the fine stand of daffodils shown at the Christchurch Spring Flower Show at the Art Gallery by Mr. H. J. Poole, of Lower Hutt, which won the trophy given to the New Zealand Daffodil Society by British growers. The judge, Mr. Guy Wilson, said that some of the blooms were even better than he had seen in England, principally the Yellow Poppy—an exquisite Yellow Incomparabilis, and a Silver Dawn—a giant Leedsii.
