RETAINED BY PARAMOUNT FOR SEVERAL PROJECTED PRODUCTIONS DENIAL OF RUMOUR

Paramount denies that Clara Bowwill leave the organisation at the end of her current picture. According to officials of the Paramount Famous Lasky Corporation, Miss Bow will continue as a Para-

mount star for several years to come. She recently signed a new contract with the company which -will continue until October, 1931, and the company is planning to release four Bow talking films during the next year.

In production at the present time is “The Saturday Night Kid,” which is being directed by A. Edward Sutherland. James Hall is Miss Bow’s leading man and the supporting cast includes Jean Arthur, Edna May Oliver, Charles Sellon, Frank Ross, Hyman Meyer, Jean Harlow, Leone Lane and Billy Bow. The latter is Clara’s cousin from Brooklyn.
