n'HE principal studio activity for Warner Brothers’ “Show of Shows” has been the fi 1m-
ing of a sketch star r i n g Georges Carpentier, the boxer-actor of France. It was directed b y John Adolphi, who, incidentally, directed a silent picture made a few years ago in
America by Carpentier. The French fighter sings several songs in “Show of Shows,” Alice White and Patsy Ruth Miller appearing in the same sketch. The trio of celebrities is supported by a chorus of 75 dancing girls.
