NOTES An Auckland visitor to Wanganui is Miss Bernau. Mrs. E. J. Wilkinson, of Muritai Road, Milford, is at present in Cambridge. Mrs. W. H. H. Wood, of Remuera, who has been visiting Dunedin, is now back in Auckland. Mrs. L. V. Wells and Miss Mary Ann Gascoigne left yesterday for Sydney, en route to England. A passenger for the South by the Limited last evening was Miss Glendining, of Auckland. Miss Violet Graham has returned to Auckland. She has been visiting friends in Whangarei. Mr. and Mrs. J. Moore, of Main Road, Kohimarama, are visiting Australia. They left by the Ulimaroa. A passenger by the TJlipiaroa was Miss Duncan, of Otaliuhu. She will take up her residence in Sydney. * + * Mrs. H. B. Lange left by the Tofua for Tonga this morning. She has been visiting relatives in Auckland and Thames. A Wellington visitor to Auckland is Mrs. D. Hannon. She is staying with her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Scoullar, of Herne Bay. * * * Mrs. C- Branson, wife of Comma 'er Branson, of H.M.S. Dunedin, left by Ulimaroa. She is returning to her home in Paris. * * * Mrs. J. Griffiths, of Kelburn, Wellington, has returned home. She has been visiting Mrs. Cyril Hughes, of Bell Road, Remuera. Mrs. A. Spencer, of Stanley Point, has gone to New Plymouth. She was accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. D. Wallace, who has been on a visit to Auckland.
DINNER PARTY PRECEDES THE AERO CLUB BALL
A very jolly little dinner party to precede the Aero Club ball last evening was held at Hotel Cargen. There were present:—Captain and Mrs. J. Seabrook, Mr. and Mrs. Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Tresidder, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer-Mason, Mrs. J. M. Goodfellow, Ca.ptain W. S. Tt. Bloomfield and Mrs. Bloomfield, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Swan, Mr. and Mrs. Moore, Mr. B. A. Wills, Mr. Pountney, Mrs. Small field, Mr. Donaghue, and Miss O’Connor.
