AERIAL TOUR CONTINUES

PLANES LEFT TODAY WEEK-END AT NEW PLYMOUTH The second stage of the Auckland Aero Club's organised tour of the North Island started a few past 10 o'clock this morning, when two of the club’s Moth planes, and Mr. lan Horton’s machine, left the Mangere airdrome for New Plymouth. The schedule time for the planes to leave this morning was nine o'clock, but owing to a dense, low-lying fog the departure was put off for an hour, in which time the weather cleared considerably, althouhg dark clouds gave threats of heavy rain. At New Plymouth, where it is expected that the party will be joined by one of the Hamilton Airways’ machines, piloted by Captain MacGregor, a conferenec will be held during the week-end with the officials of the Taranaki Aero Club.
