Sawmill Burned Lindsay and Lixon's sawmill at L.ora Gorge, near Invercargill, was completely destroyed by fire at noon yesterday. Stock destroyed included a large Quantity of butter boxes. The flames spread so rapidly that it was impossible to save anything. The loss is estimated at about £4.000. There was no insurance on either mill or stocks. —P.A.
