SYDNEY DIOCESE DECIDES ON SCHEME CAPITAL OF £50,000 Reed. 12.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Toda)'. The Anglican Synod of the Diocese of Sydney has decided to establish a church insurance company, with a capital of £50,000. Canon Beck questioned the propriety of the Church as a spiritual society taking part in a business concern. One layman referred to the proposal as a wild-cat scheme.
