NINE STUDENTS SLAIN
AMBUSHED BY ALBANIAN BRIGANDS
REVENGE ON MONTENEGRINS Australian and N.Z. Press Association Reed. 11 a.m. BELGRADE, Thursday. In a lonely pass in the Chukor Mountains, Albanian brigands ambushed and murdered nine Montenegrin students, whose bodies they hacked with knives. Over their piled corpses was posted a notice: “This is our revenge for 1912.” It is feared that three other students have been carried off.
