FOUR LANGUAGES SPOKEN
‘■The Cockeyed World,” Fox talking picture, and sequel to “What Price Glorv,” has surpassed all records, both for attendance and takings at the Roxy Theatre, New Fork. Lelia Karnelly, j, native of Russia, and Ivan Unow, speak Russian in this picture. Other languages spoken during the various scenes are Italian, Swedish and Yiddish. ___ Alan Birmingham, co-featured with Leila Hvams in the Fox Movietone comedy-drama "Masquerade,” is a playwright as well as an actor. This young Broadway favourite has written two plays which are due to be produced in New York soon.
