KNOCKED DOWN IN STREET

MAN INJURED BY MOTOR-CAR Injuries to his head and slight concussion of the brain were suffered by A. It. Lovell, of 5 Camden Road, Edendale, as the result of being knocked down by a passing motor-car while crossing the Great South Road, at Otahuiiu last evening. Mr. Lovell had been driving a car and entered a garage to obtain repairs. The accident occurred as he was leaving the premises. He was removed to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition this moraine is reported to be satisfactory.
