NEW SOUTH WALES CRISIS MORE SERIOUS CONFERENCE WANTED SYDNEY, Wednesday. The Premier of New South Wales. Mr. T. R. Bavin, met the miners’ representatives today and discussed tjie Coal Commission's findings. He expressed the Xiope that the miners’ representatives would arrange to meet the owners in conference. Gravely the Premier emphasised that the position is rapidly becoming critical. He said that unless something is done immediately important public services will be closed down. The miners’ representatives argued with Mr. Bavin, questioning the basis of the commission’s findings. Finally they declared that they were not prepared to accept any reduction in wages. . The men left ihe room without committing themselves to a further tonference with the owners before n6xt Tuesday.
