COLD STORAGE EXPERTS
THREE ABOARD RANGITIKI FOR NEW ZEALAND SURVEY OF PROBLEMS (Australian and N.Z, Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 9.45 a.m. LONDON, Wed, Dr. E. Griffiths, F.R.S., Dr. Vickery and Mr. Haddow are going to New Zealand on the Rangitiki for a survey of the cold storage of mutton and lamb from New Zealand slaughterhouses to the docks in England. Australian and New Zealand workers are joining them on the return journey, to study humidity and air movement in the holds, and they will remain in England for some months to inquire into food investigation methods at. Cambridge and elsewhere. The work is expected to have a bearing oil the problem of the transport of chilled meat.
Dr. Ezer Griffiths is principal assistant in the Physics Department of the National Physics Laboratory, Teddington. He has been connected with the British Cold Storage and Ice Association, and has written for the British Government reports dealing with refrigeration.
