NO STREET PREACHING
HAMILTON’S DECISION From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Wednesday. Preaching in the main and side streets of Hamilton was banned by the Borough Council this evening. Several shopkeepers recently complained at the noiso created by preachers, who, it was alleged, interfered with business, especially on the late night. The council has no objection to preachers exercising their lungs at Garden Place, just off Victoria Street.
