YOUNG PLAN OPPOSED

GERMAN PARTIES MOVE FOR PLEBISCITE NO RESULT EXPECTED Australian and 22. Z. Press .Association BERLIN, Wed. A Nationalist-Monarchist move for a plebiscite against the Young plan has been begun. However, it is not expected to survive the first stage of obtaining the necessary 4,000,000 signatories to a requisition. A British Official Wireless message says the sub-committee set up by the Hague Conference, in accordance with the provisions of the Young plan, to organise the Bank for International Settlement, will meet on Thursday at Baden. The committee consists of two delegates from each of the seven countries principally interested in German reparation payments and representatives nominated by the six European central banks.

The British delegates are Sir Charles Addis, a director of the Bank of England, and Mr. W. T. Layton, editor of “The Economist.”
