N.Z. BIBLE LEAGUE
AUCKLAND BRANCH MEETING The annual report presented at the second annual meeting of the Auckland branch and Dominion executive of tho New Zealand Bible League, which was,held in the Unity Hall last evening, showed a year of good progress. In Auckland and Hamilton, successful public demonstrations had been held, and good Work was being done by other branches. The financial position was satisfactory. Addresses were given by the Rev. A. V. Grace and Mr. A. H. Donnell on the subjects of “Faith’s Foundations” and “Building on Faith” ’respectively. The speakers emphasised the importance of the Bible, which was the life of the movement, and also the fact that faith without works was dead. Officers were elected as follow:President, Dr. W J-T. Pettit; secretary, Mr. A. If. Donnell, M.A.; treasurer, Mr. R. N. Bradley; committee, the Revs. A. A. Murray, A. V. Grace, H. S. Conway, A. S. . Wilson, J. F. Jones, and Messrs. A. A. Brown, C. D. Snow, T. R. Cameron, C. Lorenz. A. W. Campbell, J. Fer-g-uson, J. H. Manings, A. Tucker, W. B. Samuels, and S. A. Creamer.
