WOMAN BADLY BURNED Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. While dipping curtains in benzine at her home at 11 Ballance Street, ! Kilbirnie, yesterday, morning, Mis® Mabel Elliott had part of her clothing burnt off and received severe burns to the left side of her face, left fore- * arm and leg, when the vapour from the liquor became ignited. First aid was given by members oi ; the fire brigade, which was called out to quell the fire, which damaged the washhouse and scullery.
