JIM GERALD AGAIN

AT ST. JAMES NEXT TUESDAY Over four years ago Jim Gerald, comedian, was given the unique honour of a civic farewell from Auckland after playing to crowded houses at the old Opera House for some months. ,Mr. Gerald is returning to Auckland from Sydney next Tuesday, and when he opens his show at the St. James Theatre next Tuesday night, he will be sure of meeting many old friends. In the intervening years Jim Gerald’s Company has been playing throughout Australia and has established a reputation for clever dancing and bright sketches brimful of humour. Jn the sketches Jim Gerald himself is the chief attraction and proves himself a fine comedian. He has acquired many new sketches in Australia and his versatile nonsense and comical antics should make a wide appeal.

The company includes several new singers and a first-rate jazz band.
