CARLTON TENNIS CLUB
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The second general meeting of the Carlton Tennis Club (Onehunga) was held on Saturday. After the formal business of accepting Mr. T. F. Jeffries’s offer in respect to the courts, the following officers were elected: Batron, Dr. J. Kirkwood; president, Mr. Miller; secretary and treasurer, Mr. Jas. McMillen; committee, Messrs. J. Pollard, V. Parvin, G. Shand, J. Shand, Onv*-'n, Aldred, Tt. Chalmers; women’s social committee, Mrs. Jeffries. Mrs. Pollard. Mrs. Peake, Miss Thompson, Miss Catley, Miss Pausina, Miss Wigmore: club captain. Mrs. J. A. McMillen. The club will hold its opening day on Saturday, October 12. It has room for more members, on application to the secretary, 20 Hellaby’s Building.
