YOUNG CYCLIST KILLED
COLLISION WITH LORRY MORRINSVILLE FATALITY From. Our Own Correspondent MORRINSVILLE, Today. A youth, Sidney Pryor, aged 16 years, was killed through colliding with a motor-lorry driven by a young man, Conrad Lewis, last night. The youth v/as riding a bicycle and failed to notice the lori’y travelling over the intersection of Studholme and Anderson Streets. He was thrown in the air and the lorry then passed over him with the front and back wheels. He died within a few minutes. An inquest was opened this morning, but was adjourned owlngto Lewis being too ill to give evidence. Pryor was the eldest son of a wellknown Morrinsville family.
