FLAX GRADING RETURNS Returns of flax graded at the port of Auckland during the month ended September 30 show a marked increase on the figures for the previous month. The Sydney wool sales were resumed today when 9,241 bales were sold. The market for good wools was barely equal to the opening scries. All fatilty sorts displayed a decidedly easier tendency and showed a decline of from 5 to 7£ per cent. Greasy Merino sold to ISid.
