MOTH AIRPLANE LEADS • DE HAVILAND SEVERAL MINOR MISHAPS Reed. 10 a.m. MELBOURNE, Today. C. Pratt, in a Moth, is leading in the air race from Sydney to Perth, with H. Miller’s D.H.9, and R. Bardsley’s Moth second and third, respectively. There were several minor mishaps on the flight to Melbourne, breakdowns occurring to three machines. Bertram Heath, in a D.H.50, made the fastest flying time, but on his handicap is last, owing to his losing over an hour in starting from Sydney.
