HOMES MADE IN MINUTES

PARIS TO HAVE HOUSES OF STEEL REPLACING WOODEN HOVELS (United Service) PARIS, Sunday. The Prefect of the Seine Department announces that steel houses turned out in mass production within eight minutes and requiring only a few hours to assemble will be used to solve the housing problem in Paris. They will replace thousands of wooden hovels on the outskirts of the city. The new dwellings contain bathrooms, electric light and central heating. They are cool in summer and warm in winter. The wails are constructed of hollow steel cells encased in parallel steel bars.
