There is anxiety for Costes and Belleconte, who hopped off from Le Bourget on Saturday, attempting a record non-stop flight to Harbin, Manchuria. It Is certain that their petrol was exhausted early today and it is surmised that they came down in Siberia, with no means of communication. They were sighted only once in Germany. ACROSS THE PACIFIC NEW YORK, Saturday. A message from Seward, Alaska, says the Russian trans-Pacific airplane landed there this afternoon. Harry Senada, a Japanese airman, arrived at San Fianclseo today. He proposes to attempt to fly across the Pacific to Yokohama, via Honoiu.u, with two companions. WILKINS FOR ANTARCTIC NEW YORK, Saturday. Sir Hubert Wilkins, accompanied by .wo aviators, Messrs. Parker Cramer and A. Cheeseman, and by an engineer, , sailed today for Montevideo, en route to Deception Island. From there he will take his second expedition to the Antarctic. RACE TO PERTH STARTS Reed. 1.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Today. : Seventeen planes left Mascot this morning on the first stage of the Sydney-to-Perth air race, which is to be flown in twelve stages, two daily, and no stage to be more than 250 miles.
