MAUNGANUI IN HOWLING GALES SHIP’S CABINS FLOODED SYDNEY, Sunday. The steamer Maunganui experi- . need howling gales in the centre of .he Tasman Sea on her voyage from Wellington to Sydney. The worst day was Thursday, when :he storm resulted in flooded cabins, broken crockery and a reduction in he vessel’s speed. The passengers declared that it was the worst voyage they remembered. Nobody was injured.
