BUCKLEY’S WOUNDS
CONDITION IMPROVES John Leslie Buckley, the prisoner who was shot while attempting to escape from Mount Eden gaol on September 20, is reported by the hospital authorities to be progressing satisfactorily. His condition, which was at first regarded as grave, is now considered to be not very serious.
