In the first grade matches, playing for St. George against Glebe, Don Bradman made 148 not out, and Fairfax 46. For Petersham against Northern Districts, Tommy Andrews .scored 102. Bowling for Western Suburbs against North Sydney, Dupain took seven wickets for 27. For Gordon against Manly, Macartney took five for 30. At Brisbane, lion Oxenham bowled the whole of the Northern Suburbs’ 1 earn. He took the 10 wickets for 32 ENGLISH TEAM SAILS "A GOOD SET OF FELLOWS,” SAYS GILLIGAN (Australian a,id N.Z.
