THIEVES AT HOROTIU
MEAT STOLEN FROM BUTCHER’S attempt on store From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. The premises of J. T. Hughes, a butcher, of Horotiu, were broken into last evening and a quantity of meat stolen. The contents of the shop were scattered about the floor of the shop. E. E. Faulkner, a storekeeper, also received attention from the thieves, but iron bars across the windows of his shop prevented entry.
