Round the Churches
“Abundant Life” will be the subject of the sermon to be delivered by the Rev. T. V. Gil Allan, M.A., at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Parnell, tomorrow morning. In the evening the Rev. Canon Fancourt, M.A., will speak on “Ministering Spirits.” The 77th anniversary of the Beresford Street Congregational Sunday School will be celebrated in the Town Hall tomorrow. At 11 a.rn. the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher will speak on “What About the Children?” At 2.45 p.m. the subject will be “Jlow to Become a Champion Wrestler,” and the subject of the evening sermon will be “Youth and Modern Life.” There will be special music at each service by a choir of GOO voices. The morning service at St. Matthew’s Church* will be conducted by Canon Grant Cowen, who will also speak in the evening. The Rev. W. Rowe will speak at Pitt Street Methodist Church tomorrow morning, and at a special evangelistic meeting in the evening the Rev. tV. Walker will take at liis subject “Moral Courage.” Straight from the heart of Africa, Miss Gladys F. Yerbury will speak on her work tomorrow morning at the Grange Road Baptist Church. The evening service will be taken by the Rev. A. S. Wilson. At 8.15 p.m. an overflow after-church service will be addressed by the Rev. R. C. Roberts, B.D. The Rev. J. G. Hughes will speak on “Love” at the Progressive Church of Spiritualists at Newmarket tomorrow m 0 “The King’s Ambassadors” will be the subject chosen by Mr. H. Archer at the International Bible Students service in the Masonic Hall, Edinburgh Street, tomorrow evening. Pastor Reuben E. Howie, A.V.1., Ph.
